Say, which book has that cover that features the full face of darth Maul? Remember seeing one at MPH PArkway last year but just cannot remember the title.

That would be either The Phantom Menace Novelization(1 Maul's face, paperback); or Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter(3 Maul's face, hardcover).

I think only the paperback version is available at retail now. The cover's slightly different than the hardcover one & it comes with a bonus short story. A few bookstores may still have it. Alternatively you can borrow one from the library :D IMO the story is worth only reading once..but if you're a Darth Maul fan, you may want to own a copy.

Kinokuniya, Borders or the bookshop in City Link may have it.

The Book not seen in Kino or Borders, had checked.

Oh wow, the comic & it's from Dark Horse too. Ok thanks, will check Comics MArt and the shop at Popular Orchard.

Well done cover to boot.

I have this comic, bought sometime early this year.

I had expected the comic to go into the recruitment, training and finally the revelation.

I am afraid I was rather disappointed as the info was insufficient.

I agree.. story-wise it doesn't add much, except for the intro of Black Sun. But it does showcase some nice panels of Maul action.

Well technically speaking starwars ended at EP6. Books that fall within the movie timeline has the added advantage of developing events that will ultimately shape the subsequent episodes. eg pre-TPM & pre-AOTC novels, clone wars novels, SOTE. So unless you're a big fan of Luke & the Solo family, or even rogue squadron & the Yuuzhan Vong, there isn't much else to attract..

The NJO series are too heartbreaking. Too many people (about 365 TRILLION as quoted by Galactic Alliance) and Jedi died.

i agree the first few books (excluding vector prime) are pretty dull, though there's always the intrigue of vong culture & their technology to captivate me enough. however for me the story really picks up from Edge of Victory onwards & overall i found it a worthwhile series
